On September 23rd KST, Korean girl band QWER released their latest EP along with a music video for its title track, “My Name Is Malguem.”
The song, written by (G)I-DLE‘s Soyeon, reflects on sadness, inner strength, and the courage to pick themselves back up with hope for the future. Soyeon also participated in composing and arranging “My Name Is Malguem” with Pop Time, Daily, and Likey.
Algorithm’s Blossom is QWER’s second mini-album and features a total of eight tracks: “Intro,” “Fake Idol,” “My Name Is Malguem,” “Let’s Love,” “Run! Run! Run!,” “Goodbye My Sadness,” “Rebound,” and “Outro.” “Fake Idol” was pre-released with a music video earlier this month.
