On February 26th at 6 p.m. KST, PLAVE made a comeback with their latest EP along with a music video for its title track, “WAY 4 LUV!”
The song, produced and written by the members themselves, sings about venturing out into the world to find love. The group also co-composed the piece with EL CAPITAN.
ASTERUM : 134-1 is PLAVE’s second mini-album with six tracks, including the Christmas song “Merry PLLIstmas.” It is the last installment of the “Asterum” trilogy which also covers their debut single “Asterum” and the first EP, Asterum: The Shape of Things to Come.
PLAVE is a five-member virtual group under VLast composed of Yejun, Noah, Bamby, Eunho, and Hamin. According to their lore, they exist between the real and virtual worlds in a space called “Asterum.” Their goal is to embark on a journey to meet fans in a place where their realities intersect.
While the members appear as avatars for their promotions, actual humans are behind each one and they all work together to pen lyrics, compose music, and choreograph performances as true self-producing idols.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, and XG to whoever cared to listen. She reads just about anything and is currently easing back into full novels.
