P1Harmony is back with their sixth mini-album HARMONY: ALL IN! The final chapter of the group’s HARMONY album series was released on June 8th at 6 p.m. along with its title track “JUMP.”
The song is an alternative pop dance track with hip-hop-inspired sounds. It contains a unique rap composition and reverse 8-bit effects with lyrics expressing P1Harmony’s passion to reach further heights.
Rappers Intak and Jongseob participated in songwriting by penning their own raps, something they have done on every track since the group’s 2020 debut. Meanwhile, “JUMP” was composed by Lee Hyunseung, TOMO, Patrick ‘J.Que’ Smith, and Benjmn.
The music video for “JUMP” is fun and addictive, showing P1Harmony executing impressive choreography that features fancy footwork on top of retro-inspired sets and runway-worthy styling.
HARMONY: ALL IN concludes the current trilogy which continues P1Harmony’s message of harmony first established in the DISHARMONY series. Following themes of respecting individuality and freedom (HARMONY: ZERO IN) and the strength of friendship (HARMONY: SET IN) respectively, the final chapter completes P1Harmony’s journey to create a harmonious world. It contains six tracks that touch on multiple musical genres including dance-pop, afro-beat, and R&B slow jams.
P1Harmony had a busy and successful first half of the year, completing a string of concerts across the U.S. where they performed in 12 major cities. Additionally, the group collaborated with the British trio New Hope Club on the song “Super Chic” back in April.
The two groups first met last August at the “Haus of Wonder” festival in Seoul. Fast-forward to February, New Hope Club joined P1Harmony on stage during their New York concert, while the K-pop group returned the favor by performing with New Hope Club during their concert in Korea.
