Back with an electrifying fresh concept are the boys of P1Harmony who returned with their fifth mini-album HARMONY: SET IN on November 30th at 6 p.m. KST!
The title track “Back Down” is an empowering anthem dripping with unapologetic confidence. The hip-hop genre song has an impressive catchy pop melody and unique sound. It sends a message of not backing down anytime or anywhere and fighting together. P1Harmony’s distinctive energy can be felt through the chorus which is repeated with the members’ impactful vocal delivery.
FNC Entertainment CEO Han Seongho and singer-songwriter Sooyoon (formerly of Royal Pirates) contributed to the lyrics of “Back Down” along with P1Harmony’s charismatic rappers Intak and Jongseob. Meanwhile, global producers Sebastian Thott and Patrick “j.Que” Smith took charge of composing the music.
As expected from the rising boy group, the single’s music video stays true to its namesake and never backs down in energy or visuals. It is creative and fun while maintaining the seriousness of P1Harmony’s message of determination and grit.
HARMONY: SET IN contains six new songs including the emotional closing track “Better Together.” The medium-tempo ballad showcases all the members’ harmonious vocals while sending the message that even if you fall, you can get the power to stand up together because you have each other to lean on. Similar themes of brotherhood and unity are present throughout the mini-album.
Along with the new album, P1Harmony will be making their U.S. television debut with a performance of “Back Down” live on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
