ONEWE has unveiled their newest song “Star” on November 23rd at 6 p.m. KST.
Serving as the pre-release track for the band’s upcoming second demo album Studio We : Recording #2 to be released on December 7th KST – “Star” continues ONEWE’s “Space Series” that connects their songs “Regulus” and “Parting.”
The charming track was co-written and co-composed by members Yonghoon and CyA and features a meticulous arrangement of guitar lines, rhythmic instruments, and theatrical harmonies between the vocalists. The lyrics compare a fateful encounter between two people to a star that has been placed in the sky by heaven.
Dreamlike fantasy elements are included throughout the music video, which contains ONEWE’s dramatic band performance under a purple sky reminiscent of a vast galaxy.
ONEWE’s second demo album Studio We : Recording #2 contains the demo/guide versions of some of the band’s discography and includes a whopping 10 CD-only tracks. Meanwhile, the band’s highly anticipated second mini album – the follow-up to June’s Planet Nine: Alter Ego – is set for release in January 2022.
