On September 2nd at 6 p.m. KST, ONEUS revealed the music video for “Life Is Beautiful.” The video is the second scene from their special project “ONEUS Theatre,” a special project which combines movie concepts with unique performances.
The song is an uplifting future pop track that creates a warm and tropical atmosphere through heart-stirring melodies played by instruments like guitars and flutes. The lyrics reassure listeners that it’s okay to take a step back from the intensity of daily life and to slow down and go your own pace in order to find what you really want.
The message is summed up in the phrase “Carpe Diem,” commonly translated from its original language of Latin to “seize the day” in English. It is also a famous line from the 1989 film “Dead Poets Society,” which inspires various scenes throughout the music video and incorporates them into the performance.
RBW producers Lee Sangho, Seo Yongbae, and Lee Husang wrote, composed. and arranged the song, while ONEUS members Ravn and Leedo participated in writing the track.
“Life is Beautiful” is the second song to be released after “Shut Up And Crazy Hot!” which kicked off the special project last month in a “Mad Max: Fury Road” inspired performance video. Additionally, just like its predecessor, “Life Is Beautiful” has also been released in an English version.
Through “ONEUS Theatre,” the group is demonstrating their diversity by heralding a complete contrast in concepts and displaying unlimited charms to fans— both old and new.
