WATCH: NU’EST Runs Towards Romance In “Inside Out” MV

Constantly challenging themselves with ever-evolving creative ventures, Pledis Entertainment‘s NU’EST is back with their second full-length album, Romanticize!

Released on April 19th at 6 p.m. KST, the title track “Inside Out” tells the story of pretending to be fine ahead of a breakup but upon realizing that your true desire is to be with that person, you run towards them without hesitation.

The chill song falls under the house genre and is flowing with deep emotional harmonies, pulsating beats, and rhythmic synths. It illustrates feelings that are difficult to define with words.

NU’EST member JR participated in the writing of “Inside Out” as did Baekho who also worked on the track’s composition. Notable Pledis and SEVENTEEN producer BUMZU, G-High and Inner Child of MonoTree, and Danish-based songwriting duo Jay&Rudy teamed up to write and compose the song. Anchor of production team PRISMFILTER also took part in composing and arranging the track.

Romanticize is split into two parts under the theme of romance. The first part contains five group songs which explore various sides of romance, spanning different music genres including urban R&B and house.

The second half of the album is comprised of the members’ solos. Each of them personally participated in writing and composing for the tracks, further showcasing their musicality and artistic maturity.
