WATCH: NU’EST Re-Releases 2013 Track “HELLO” As A Thanks To Fans

NU’EST has surprised fans with a gift as a thank you for all of their support during “Produce 101: Season 2.”

On July 14th KST, NU’EST dropped a re-composed and re-recorded version of their popular 2013 track “HELLO (여보세요),” called “HELLO 2017 version.” It was posted as a thank you to the fans for supporting NU’EST and sending them back to the top after experiencing a lack of public interest over the last few years.

This version is a slow, piano version (in comparison to the original which is acoustic pop) that’s pulsed with vocal layering. Fans have been commenting about how legitimately emotional each member sounds in it, as if conveying their feelings from recent events. It is also the only NU’EST song so far without member Minhyun as he is promoting with Wanna One.

L.O.ㅅ.E (NU’EST’s fan club) has grown exponentially since the band’s time on “Produce 101: Season 2.” The fans have shown an overwhelming amount of support to the group by streaming music videos, holding events, and posting on social media.

Most of their music videos have climbed in views by the millions, but their song “Hello” has perhaps been shown the most love. Thanks to fans, it easily climbed up to top spots on music charts. Despite the song being over four years old, “HELLO” became a candidate on Inkigayo back in late June of this year. They didn’t win, but fans made it possible to do something as amazing as an older song being nominated once more.

NU’EST is in preparations for a comeback in the near future with members Aron, Ren, Baekho, and JR.

Check out the song below, then feel free to let us know what you think.
