WATCH: NOIR Members Are Fallen Angels In Epic Comeback MV “Lucifer”

The nine-members of the LUK Factory boy group NOIR are back with even more intensity in “Lucifer.”

Released on April 27th at 12 p.m KST, the hard, trap-style song which leader Seunghoon wrote and composed with longtime NOIR producer Lee Jung-wook has an addictive melody and a lingering hook. The members show their unique, appealing vocals and powerful rapping as they depict the agony of a fallen angel in a whirlwind of emotions. The choreography expresses the fallen angels concept well, and the costumes and makeup also add to the song’s versatility and appeal.

“Lucifer” is the title track from NOIR’s fourth mini-album, entitled Up The Sky, and maintains the group’s heavy, masculine musical color and presents a more mature style and ability. The album has five songs, including an intro produced by member Hoyeon himself, an R&B song “Just Today” featuring sub-vocalist Daewon leading the main vocals, “Panic” boasting colorful and rich sounds, and the fan song “Think About Chu,” a love letter directed at NOIR’s fandom Lumiere.

The album unravels stories of suffering, frustration, hope, and human desire in its own way as it goes through many different music genres such as trap, EDM, classic R&B, and new jack swing.
