WATCH: NMIXX Embraces Weird To Shine Brighter In “See That?” MV

Back after seven months, NMIXX returns with their third mini-album Fe3O4 : STICK OUT and the music video for its title track “See that?” on August 19th at 6 p.m. KST!

The new song is a mix of old-school hip-hop and country genres based on a groovy rhythm, showcasing NMIXX chic charm. Mudd the Student and Omega Sapien of the alternative K-pop group Balming Tiger contributed notably to the lyrics.

Since their debut, NMIXX has been introducing the “MIXX POP” genre, which fuses two or more genres into one song to create a variety of sounds. This time, the group has added its own unique charm by placing elements of MIXX POP throughout “See that?” as the flow changes in the middle of the track.

In the accompanying music video, we see NMIXX’s performance which has grown into a more hip and kitschy concept than before. The members are fully embracing the characteristics of the classic hip-hop genre with power and groove.

Fe3O4 : STICK OUT is the second album from the girl group to feature the chemical symbol relating to magnets following Fe3O4 : BREAK in January. The new mini-album contains six tracks including a feature with rapper Kid Milli on the intriguingly named song, “SICKUHH.”
