On January 15th at 6 p.m. KST, NMIXX returned with their latest EP along with a music video for its title track, “DASH!”
The mixx pop song is a bold statement of the group’s intent to pursue their own journey instead of taking paths someone else set. It was written by Deza, Won Jiae (Jamfactory), Jeong Dayeon (ONCLASSA), Baek Saeim (PNP), Oh Hyunseon (Lalara Studio), Rick Bridges, Kim In (153/Joombas), Hyeonggeun (INHOUSE), Wkly, and Seong Yujin (Jamfactory). Meanwhile, PUFF, Strong Dragon (THE HUB), and C’SA composed the track.
Fe3O4: BREAK is NMIXX’s second mini-album and features seven tracks in total including the pre-released single, “Soñar (Breaker).”

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, and XG to whoever cared to listen. She reads just about anything and is currently easing back into full novels.
