Nicole is back after a year and three months with a new digital signal “5!6!7!8!” on June 6th at 6 p.m. KST!
Written and composed by producer and singer-songwriter Chancellor, the upbeat dance song is an 80s disco-pop-inspired number that depicts people dancing together and shouting out countdowns to the music while exchanging signals on the dance floor.
Meanwhile, the KARA member’s mysterious and charming vocals harmonize with the retro synthesizer and catchy strings, addictive bass, and lingering drums.
Just like the song, the “5!6!7!8!” music video is heavily inspired by 80s disco. It features a relaxed and dreamy Nicole, whose performance is seemingly effortless, showcasing alluring and playful charms as expected from the singer who is often referred to as a “performance master.”
