On May 24th at 4 p.m. KST, NewJeans returned with their latest single album along with a music video for its title track, “How Sweet!”
The dance-pop song features Miami Bass elements and “stimulating electro sounds” combined with the group’s signature refreshing charm. Its lyrics were written by Gigi, Sarah Aarons, Elvira Anderfjard, Oscar Scheller, Stella Bennett, Tove Burman, and NewJeans member DANIELLE while 205 produced the track.
NewJeans’s second single album also includes the B-Side track “Bubble Gum” which highlights a cool sound with a simple drum pattern and pad synths. Its music video was pre-released on April 27th KST.
NewJeans debuted in July 2022 under ADOR and immediately rose to stardom through a string of hits such as “Hype Boy,” “Ditto,” “OMG,” “Attention,” “Cool With You,” “Super Shy,” and “GODS.”
