“The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” is a mystery-thriller drama adaptation of the 2002 Japanese drama “Sora Kara Guru Ichioku no Hoshi” by Eriko Kitagawa. It stars Seo In Guk (“Shopping King Louis”) and Jung So Min (“Because This Is My First Life”).
The drama is about two people’s entangled fates. It follows the story of a detective who takes on a female student murder case that appeared to be a suicide. However, the detective suspects it is actually murder. Later, his younger sister happens to meet a young man and they fall in love. Unfortunately, the detective suspects he is involved in the murder case.
“The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” will be directed by Yoo Je Won who is known for his works on drama “Tomorrow With You” and “Oh My Ghost.”
Other cast members include Park Sung Woong (“Life on Mars”) and Seo Eun Soo (“My Golden Life”).
“The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” premiers on September 26th every Wednesdays and Thursdays on tvN.
