A new teaser has been released for the upcoming drama “Bride of the Water God.”
Starring Nam Joo Hyuk and Shin Se Kyung, the drama is already eagerly anticipated by Kdrama fans around the globe. The short clip shows the two stars walking through a beautiful, grassy field on a summer day, looking like the perfect couple in coordinating outfits. As it begins to rain, Nam Joo Hyuk’s character uses his power was a water god to shield them from the rain, impressing his lovely “bride.”
The drama focuses on a reincarnated water god and a female doctor who is offered to him as a sacrifice and must be his slave. It is based loosely on the manhwa of the same name, but has both modern day and historical elements to it unlike the manhwa.
The fantasy romance drama is set air on July 3rd on tvN.
