Im Youngmin and Kim Donghyun have finally arrived on the entertainment scene as new duo, MXM (Brand New Boys)!
On July 27th KST, Brand New Music dropped a virtual single album titled GOOD DAY with two tracks.
Both of the Brand New trainees garnered popularity through the competition reality show “Produce 101: Season 2.” Following the finale (in which the other two trainees from their company made it as part of Wanna One), they returned to their company to begin preparations for debut as a singer-rapper duo! They have since been teasing their debut for excited fans.
The two members were involved in the production of the song “I Just Do,” along with producer Kiggen. The song “Good Day” was created by Neighborhood Hyung, Won Young Hun, and fellow Brand New trainees (and Wanna One members) Lee Daehwi and Park Woojin. The two songs are considered pre-debut tracks, but fans are already in love with the new duo’s style.
On top of the two new tracks, the boys also uploaded a video of themselves doing an impressive performance of “Hollywood.” This song was also produced by Wanna One’s Lee Daehwi and choreographed by Wanna One’s Park Woojin. This was the very same song the four Brand New trainees used to get their first grade placements in “Produce 101: Season 2.” The duo easily shows off the impressive, sharp dance moves and swag-filled style.
