WATCH: NELL Releases Heartfelt “Broken” Music Video

Indie rock group NELL has returned with an a new track.

On July 25th KST, a music video was dropped for their newest track “Broken (부서진).”

NELL made their start in the early 2000s and were under Woollim Entertainment from 2006 till 2016. They left in 2016 in order to create their independent record label, Space Bohemian.

NELL is known for their indie, alternative rock music style that always has an air of sadness and strong emotion about it. Their fourth studio album, Separation Anxiety, was ranked number one on various album ranking charts. Many artists have claimed NELL to be one of their role models in music, including previous label-mate, INFINITE’s Sunggyu.

“Broken (부서진)” was released as a single track. According to a description on their official website, it “was not listed on their regular album due to the fast tempo, furious sound, and the outspoken lyrics, which did not match with NELL’s other songs on the albums..” This is their first comeback since the release of “Dream Catcher” back in August 2016.
