NCT‘s Mark Lee has finally fully unveiled his first solo album, The Firstfruit, along with a music video for its title track, “1999!” The 13-song album was organized into four chapters representing the four cities that built Mark’s foundation as himself and as an artist: Toronto, New York, Vancouver, and Seoul.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally in the early 2000s, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid full attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, XG, and KISS OF LIFE to whoever cared to listen.
