NCT’s final global sub-unit is officially here!
On February 28th at 6 p.m. KST, the NCT WISH released their debut single album and music videos for the Korean and Japanese versions of “WISH.”
The old-school hip-hop-based medium-tempo dance track expresses the group’s excitement for the new beginning that starts at that moment and their ambition to run into the future with their unique color. KENZIE and jeanjinn jane penned the lyrics for the Korean version of the track while h.toyosaki wrote the Japanese version.
The single album WISH contains a total of four songs (the title track “WISH” and B-side track “Sail Away” are sung in both Korean and Japanese). Its physical album has already been released in Japan today but the rest of the world will have to wait until March 4th KST.
NCT WISH is composed of six members: Shion, Riku, Yuushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya. With the catchphrase “WISH for Our WISH,” the group hopes to encourage everyone’s dreams and wishes through their bright and positive energy.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, and XG to whoever cared to listen. She reads just about anything and is currently easing back into full novels.
