On October 12th KST, NCT introduced their second full-team album along with a sub-unit music video for “Make A Wish (Birthday Song)”!
With Korean lyrics written by Penomeco and the track composed by Karen Poole, Sonny J Mason, and Bobii Lewis, the dance track makes use of a whistling effect that weaves throughout the song. Its lyrics urges the listener to let themselves be carried away and be immersed in the moment. An English version is also included in the album.
Members Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Xiaojun, Lucas, Jaemin, and Shotaro took part in recording the song and performed in its music video.
NCT 2020: RESONANCE Pt. 1 includes 12 titles and comes in two versions: “The Past” and “The Future.” All 23 members of the mega group participated in recording and shooting materials for the album, presenting fresh combinations outside their usual sub-units . It also marks the first promotional activities for two new faces in the team, Jung Sungchan and Osaki Shotaro.
Further adding excitement to the launch, SM Entertainment announced that the album pre-orders for NCT’s second full album had hit 1.12 million copies a day before its official release. A second part is set to be revealed in November. Congratulations to NCT and their devoted fans, NCTzens!
