On February 26th at 6 p.m. KST, NCT‘s Taeyong returned with his second mini-album along with a music video for its title track, “TAP!”
The hip-hop song, written and co-composed by Taeyong himself, is about trying to gauge someone’s interest in pursuing romance. It features an 808 bass sound with modern drums and guitars.
TAP is the title of Taeyong’s latest EP which contains six tracks: “Tap,” “Moon Tour,” “Run Away,” “Ape,” “Ups & Downs,” and “404 Loading.” Unlike his first album, SHALALA, which was more autobiographical, TAP reflects the personal experiences and realizations of Taeyong. He wrote the lyrics for each song and led the production of each one.
