On May 10th at 6 p.m. KST, NCT Dream released their first full album and dropped a music video for their new title track, “Hot Sauce”!
Described as a hip-hop song with a unique, addictive sound, the song’s lyrics highlight the group’s charms by describing them as something fiery, stimulating, and flavorful. Jo Yoon Kyung and Moon Yeo Leum wrote the song while Ninos Hanna, John Mitchell, Soaky Siren, Pip, Yoo Young Jin, Martin Wave, and Tinashe Sibanda teamed up to compose the music.
Hot Sauce is NCT Dream’s first full studio album and features a total of 10 songs which span several genres. The physical album offers photobooks that come in three versions and seven different jewel cases from which to choose. On May 3rd KST, the album registered over a million copies through pre-order sales, officially making NCT Dream a million-seller group! As of May 9th KST, sales reached over 1.71 million in sales.
This comeback is also extra emotional for NCTzens (NCT‘s fandom) since it heralds Mark Lee‘s return after he graduated from the team back in 2018. Welcome back, Mark, and congratulations to NCT Dream!
