NCT Dream dropped a special winter gift on December 16h at 6 p.m. KST with the release of their special winter mini-album, Candy!
The title track “Candy” is a reimagining of H.O.T‘s 1996 classic hit with NCT Dream’s own color. The new arrangement by K-pop hitmaker Kenzie adds a refreshing and hip charm to the original. The song is sure to spark feelings of nostalgia for old-school K-pop fans while also introducing it to a new audience who are unfamiliar with the original’s legacy.
The music video is vibrant and colorful, keeping with the bubblegum pop theme. NCT Dream’s signature high energy and charisma shine brightly through the clip that is just pure unadulterated fun.
NCT Dream’s winter special mini-album Candy contains six tracks of various genres tailored to accompany the season. It also serves as a gift for fans of Dream who have helped make 2022 a very successful year for the NCT sub-unit.
The septet held their second solo concert at Seoul Olympic Stadium in Jamsil earlier this year, the largest stadium in South Korea, making them the seventh idol group in history to hold a concert in the venue.
