WATCH: MYNAME’s Kang Insoo And IMFACT’s Lee Sang “Wish For You” In “Wish You: Your Melody In My Heart” OST

Currently making waves as the main stars of BL webdrama “Wish You: Your Melody In My Heart,” Kang Insoo and Lee Sang of idol boy groups MYNAME and IMFACT, respectively, have released the OST “Wish For You” on December 8th KST.

It was written by Baek Eunwoo who has participated, both as an artist and composer, on countless OSTs including songs featured on the soundtrack to another BL drama “Mr. Heart” which starred Produce X 101 trainee Lee Sejin and THE MAN BLK’s Cheon Seungho in September. Singer-songwriter RUNY, as well as composer Oh Byungjoo also participated in the album.

Being lead vocalists in their respective groups, Insoo and Sang’s voices come together perfectly in this heartfelt ballad, which serves as the title track of the drama, and reflects their characters’ feelings of yearning for something that could be referring to music or a person.

“Wish You: Your Melody In My Heart” tells the story of a street performer and singer-songwriter (Insoo) who is discovered by keyboardist (Sang), an employee at a record company. The two soon find themselves living and working together while the relationship blossoms through their mutual love of music.

The webdrama is the latest in a string of BL dramas to come out of Korea after the country’s first ever BL drama and “Mr. Heart” prequel “Where Your Eyes Linger” aired in May. Other BL dramas currently in production is “Color Rush” (starring Hur Hyunjun (formerly THE BOYZ’s Hwall) and actor Yoo Jun) and “To My Star” (starring Jinkwan of idol boy group NEWKIDD).
