Rapper Mushvenom returns with his newest single, “SPACE MUSHIP”!
The song was written by the rapper himself alongside No Identity who also produced the track. Its music video features a retro-futuristic metaverse where Mushvenom delivers a unique out-of-this-world rap style. The overall design of cosmic elements combined with spaceships and extraterrestrials is distinctly reminiscent of the movies from the Star Trek franchise and 2001: Space Oddysey.
Mushvenom, real name Lee Taemin, is a 28-year-old rapper who made a name for himself after his stints in the hit rap competition “Show Me The Money.” He is primarily known for his humorous lyrical styles combined with the Chungcheong dialect.
In 2019, he showcased his debut single “Why Are You So Noisy” which was later nominated for Best Rap Song at the Korean Music Awards and Hip-hop Track of the Year at the Korean Hip-Hop Awards. His single “Nice Head” was released that same year and was also a nominee for Best Rap Song at the Korean Music Awards.
Mushvenom returned for “Show Me The Money 9” and took first runner-up for the season. He debuted his GroovyRoom-produced hit single “VVS” with fellow rapper JUSTTHIS while on the show and the song reached number one on the Gaon Digital Chart. The song also won Hip-Hop Track of the Year at the 2021 Korean Hip-Hop Awards and was nominated for Collaboration of the Year during the ceremony.
