After three years, MC Mong makes his return on October 25th at 6 p.m. KST with the release of his new album and music video for its title track, “Fame.”
“Fame” expresses’s MC Mong’s realizations, reflections, and regrets as he looks back on his past. It conveys the thought that the public is the source of popularity and it is them who holds the key to success as a public figure.
Trot singer Song Gain, Chancellor, and Park Bom features in his his new album’s double title tracks, “Fame,” and “Channel.”
According to MC Mong, after he was suspected of military evasion back in 2010, he experienced a period of deep introspection. It took him a long time to gain courage to take a step forward but through the support of fellow artists including Suran, Yang Dail, Coogie, MOON, Jiselle, HYNN, Chancellor, Park Bom, and Song Gain, he was able to take another chance by releasing CHANNEL8.
MC Mong planned a showcase at Yes24 Live Hall, Gwangjin District, Seoul on October 25th to 26th KST to promote and reconnect with people through his new album.
