On March 16th at 6 p.m. KST, the singer dropped a new solo album as well as a music video for the lead track, “HONEY.”
Partly written and composed by the MAMAMOO leader herself, the song contains references to honey, bees, and butterflies as it describes sweet flirtations and playing coy towards those who want her. The music video moves between stylishly-colored sets, yellow honeycomb patterns appearing with the props, as she dances vibrantly along to the music.
容:FACE marks Solar’s first official mini-album. It contains a total of five songs, four of which she co-wrote the lyrics and three of which she co-composed. She made her official solo debut back in April 2020 with the single album, Spit It Out.
