MAMAMOO‘s Moonbyul has released her new song and MV!
On February 13th, the talented artist dropped the video for “Eclipse.” The hard-hitting track has a deep bass and catchy hook that is sure to have fans singing in no time! The lyrics of the song talk about feeling alone when the problems of life hide the light away just like a moon does to the sun during an eclipse. However, instead of letting her problems get her down, Moonbyul promises to become her own type of star to give light to those she loves during their own dark problems.
Meanwhile, the music video has a dark concept as Moonbyul shows off her slick dance skills in addition to her singing and rapping. Combining cool sets and strong outfits, Moonbyul is a force to be reckoned with in the new MV!
“Eclipse” is the title track off Moonbyul’s new solo album, Dark Side of the Moon. The album includes a total of six tracks: “Eclipse,” “mirror,” “Iljido,” “MOON MOVIE,” “Weird Day,” and “Snow.” This marks her second album to be released after making her solo debut in May 2018 with “Selfish.”
