On November 24th at 6 p.m. KST, MAMAMOO‘s Hwasa amped up the magnetism in her music video for “I’m a B”!
The song was written by Hwasa herself alongside Park Woosang, Hae Dayeong, Gustav Landell, Kristin Carpenter, Simon Jonasson, and Musikality. Gustav Landell, Kristin Carpenter, Simon Jonasson, and Musikality also composed the track.
According to the singer herself, during an online press conference for the comeback, she drew inspiration from herself and the experiences she went through in her life. She further explained that in her case, what she would consider as her guilty pleasure is her constant desire to push herself beyond her limits and up to the point of mistreating herself in order to achieve her goals. Hwasa shares that she feels happy with what she does but expresses her apologies to her family and friends for missing precious moments with them.
Guilty Pleasure, Hwasa’s second EP, also contains two more B-side tracks titled “FOMO” and “Bless U.” It comes over a year after Hwasa released her first mini-album Maria in June 2020 and nearly three years since her solo debut with “Twit.”
