On October 11th at 6 p.m. KST, MAMAMOO made a comeback with a new EP along with a music video for its title track, “ILLELLA”!
Co-written and co-composed by member Moonbyul, it features an exotic reggaeton sound and lyrics that capture the building anticipation that permeates a romantic night. Kim Dohoon (RBW), Kang Jiwon, Yu Jui (RBW), and Inner Child (Mono Tree) also worked on composing and writing the song.
MIC ON marks MAMAMOO’s 12th mini-album and contains the B-side tracks “One two three hey! (1,2,3 Eoi!)” and “LIEC.” Solar was revealed to have penned lyrics for the former. This is the group’s first comeback in over a year after releasing WAW and their compilation album I SAY MAMAMOO: THE BEST in 2021.
