Good news for Ma Dong Seok fans! The great actor from “Train to Busan” will star in an upcoming movie with a life-changing, sports-inspired, and comedic story!
“Champion’’ tells the story of Mark (Ma Dong Seok) who is an arm wrestler and dreams of becoming a champion. Jin Ki (Kwon Yeol) is Mark’s promoter who also dreams of becoming successful by having Mark on his side. One day, Mark’s sister Soo Jin (Han Ye Ri) appears with her children and changes the lives of everyone involved. Together, they take on a challenge much tougher and bolder than arm wrestling has ever been.
Directed by Kim Yong Wan, the film will be distributed by Warner Bros and is set to release this coming May in cinemas worldwide.
