On April 30th at 12 p.m. KST, M.O.N.T’s Narachan and Roda released a new track, entitled “Bottle,” along with its lyric video!
The hip-hop song differs from the group’s existing offerings in the genre, with a softer and groovier composition that complements the passionate and emotional lyrics. As with every M.O.N.T release, the members once again took the lead with composing and writing. Additional arrangements to the track were made by maknae Roda.
Throughout 2021, the pair has released solo songs (Narachan’s “Beautiful Sunday” and Roda’s “Anxious”) while member Bitsaeon has been in the army since November of last year. The new song comes just a few days after the news that leader Narachan will be enlisting on May 25th.
It was revealed through a letter on M.O.N.T’s official fancafe on April 28th. An English translation was provided by FM Entertainment for global “Mints” on M.O.N.T’s newly launched Discord.

Today I decided to write this letter to Mints to tell you guys that I recently received the call from the country to enlist in the army on May 25th.
It still doesn’t feel real that I got the call, it is quite sudden and thinking that I won’t be able to see Mints for a while it is very sad.
Even though I feel a bit sad that I can’t push the date to a later date, it must be just as hard to accept for you guys as well right?
But I have something to say! Bitsaeon hyung is in the army too. And because of Covid M.O.N.T is unable to meet Mints face to face in the current circumstances.
So in someway by finishing up this mandatory service early I think this is a way to bring the full M.O.N.T back together again as soon as we could.
All of FM, M.O.N.T and especially me felt that all the times we spent with Mints are so special. It is a time that I never want to lose or give up.
Compared to the love and support we gained from Mints, I have so much to still return back to you guys and yet I still couldn’t gift back to you guys as much as you did for me. We are sorry to Mints who had looked forward to M.O.N.T’s next steps in 2021.
I remember seeing Mints post in the comments asking when we will go back to their country…
I’m sorry that I couldn’t go there but please remember that M.O.N.T will never forget about Mints and the memories that we had together in each and every one of your countries. It’s all alive within me like it happened yesterday.
You guys are me and M.O.N.T’s most precious gift. We spent time together being able to enjoy our music together and I was able to gain many important things from you guys in life. So I will never forget that, if you guys are willing to still wait for me. I will become a more cool and healthy man and come back to you guys!!!
I calculated from May 25th, I will be finished next year November! (After hearing that you must be surprised how fast it will be right?) So after I discharge from the army I hope that we can meet not just online but in real life as well. And PLEASE SUPPORT M.O.N.T even when I’m not here.
For me there is no person like you Mints… LOVE you all! See you in 19 months.
