On December 13th at 6 p.m. KST, popular rookie group LOONA returned with a sentimental gift for their loyal fans called “365”!
“365” is a mellow R&B winter ballad that conveys LOONA’s deep gratitude to the people who continuously support them as well as a vow to help bring them light throughout the year.
LOONA debuted in 2018 with a mini-album called [+ +] which was led by the song, “Hi High.” They had a pre-released track prior to their official launch called “favOrite” and last returned this February with a repackage entitled [X X] and its title track, “Butterfly.”
Within a few hours of its release, the song ranked #1 on the U.S. iTunes Top Songs chart, making them the second K-pop girl group to ever reach the top of this chart. In addition, as LOONA has previously ranked #1 on the U.S. iTunes Top Albums Chart, this means they are the first-ever K-pop girl group to ever accomplish this, as well as the second girl group ever to do so with Destiny’s Child being the first. As far as other Korean groups, only BTS has ever accomplish this feat before.
Congratulations to LOONA! Have you listened to “365” yet?
