“Sinkhole” is a disaster-comedy film about a newly-furnished villa that falls into a sinkhole, leaving many people trapped inside.
Park Dong Won, played by Kim Sung Kyun, has finally gotten to own a unit for his family after 11 years of hard work. He invites his supervisor Kim Seung Hyun (Lee Kwang Soo) and his other co-workers for a housewarming party when tragedy strikes and the ground underneath their building crumbles. Jeong Man Soo (Cha Seung Won), a fellow resident and a single father who works day and night to sustain his son’s needs, is also trapped in the ruins with them.
Will the group escape from the gigantic sinkhole that plunged them 500 meters underground? Find out when “Sinkhole” premieres on August 11th KST under Showbox.
