Another IZ*ONE alum just made her solo debut!
Lee Chaeyeon, the former vocalist of the “Produce 48” project group, released her first solo mini-album called HUSH RUSH on October 12th at 6 p.m. KST.
The album includes the title track of the same name which is a pop number that catches listeners’ ears with the singer’s delicate voice and unique performance. Lyrically, the song uses the metaphor of a vampire awakening from sleep and dancing in the moonlight to the freedom and confidence that Chaeyeon herself feels when she steps on stage and performs.
Writer Jo Yoonkyung penned the lyrics while Dem Jointz, Ryan Jhun, and Cristina Gallo composed the track. Like the message of the song, its music video is perfect for the month of Halloween as the singer portrays a vampire hiding out from the sunlight in an exquisite mansion.
HUSH RUSH contains a total of four songs including the 80s synth-pop “Danny,” the groovy and mature “Aquamarine,” as well as the attractive dance song “Same But Different.” Lee Chaeyeon is now the fourth former member of IZ*ONE to make a solo debut following Kwon Eunbi, Jo Yuri, and Choi Yena.
