On August 24th at 6 p.m. KST, Kwon Eun Bi made her solo debut with a mini-album and a music video for its title track, “Door.”
The lead track features lyrics by the singer herself, alongside e.one and Hwang Hyun— who both composed the song as well. The song talks about crossing the threshold into something new and unexplored. Kwon Eun Bi’s first solo EP, entitled Open, comes in two physical versions and offers six tracks in total.
In 2014, Kwon Eun Bi first made her debut as “Kazoo” with Kiroy Company girl group, Ye-A. She left the team in October of that same year and tried her luck again in 2018 by joining the idol audition program “Produce 48” as a representative of Woollim Entertainment.
She finished in seventh place in the show, securing a spot in the hit project group, IZ*ONE. She stepped up as the leader, main dancer, and lead vocalist of the team and promoted as part of the 12-member group for two and a half years until their contract period ended in April 2021.
