Kwon Eunbi is back with new music fitting her “Summer Queen” and “Water Bomb Goddess” titles!
On June 18th at 6 p.m. KST, the songstress released her second single album SABOTAGE and the music video for the title track of the same name.
“SABOTAGE” is a Euro-house tune inspired by the 80’s disco sound, featuring a fluid and dynamic vocal range over a strong house beat. The retro drums and synths are merged with a modern and colorful sound, evoking the feeling of a refreshing yet sultry summer heat. Eunbi’s energetic vocals paired with her meticulous choreography using a chair add to the richness and color of the performance.
The song contains a coming-of-age storyline about the anxiety that shakes up a stable world like a form of sabotage, and how to deal with it while finding your place in the world. It was written by JJEAN (NUMBER K), Phil Schwan (NUMBER K) and Justin Reinstein. The former artist also composed the track with Noday, Youra (Full8loom), and Bay (153/Joombas).
SABOTAGE includes two additional songs “Unnatural,” which is an urban R&B track, and “Bad Blood” which utilizes an Afrobeat-based Latin pop genre.
Kwon Eunbi is expected to participate in various summer music festivals in Korea and abroad, including the famous WATERBOMB Seoul 2024!
