Actress Kim So Hyun and actor Ji Soo are back in small screen with their new KBS drama, “River Where The Moon Rises!”
“River Where The Moon Rises” is a historical drama that tells the story of Princess Pyeonggang (Kim So Hyun) who was raised as a soldier and dreamt to be the first female ruler of Goguryeo. She begins to have mixed thoughts after she came to meet On Dal (Ji Soo).
The drama will be spearhead by director Yun Sang Ho and writer Han Ji Hoon. The drama is based on the novel ”Princess Pyeonggang,” which is written by Choi Sagyu, and the folktale stories of ”On Dal,” a known brave general of Goguryeo who came from a low class family and married the King of Goguryeo’s daughter.
Other main casts include Lee Ji Hoon (“Dinner Mate”) and Choi Yu Hwa (“My Dangerous Wife.”) Kang Ha Neul will also be having his special appearance in the drama.
It is set to premier this coming February on KBS every Monday and Tuesday at 21:30 KST. Watch the teaser below!
