On September 4th at 6 p.m. KST, Kim Sejeong made her first musical comeback in a long while with her first studio album along with a music video for its second title track, “Top or Cliff!”
The R&B pop song sings of achieving success through sheer grit and at the expense of taking immense risks to get the results they want. It was inspired by the 2010 psychological horror movie “Black Swan” which depicts a desperate ballerina spiraling into madness and the dangerous lengths she’s willing to go for her art.
Door marks Kim Sejeong’s first full album and features two title tracks, “Voyage and “Top or Cliff.” A music video for “Voyage” was pre-released on August 30th KST to herald her first comeback as a single in two years.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, and XG to whoever cared to listen. She reads just about anything and is currently easing back into full novels.
