On March 29th at 6 p.m. KST, Kim Sejeong made her comeback with a new album and a music video for its title track, “Warning”!
Co-written and co-composed by the soloist herself, the lead single contains a message to be kind to yourself and to take a breather sometimes. She believes that everyone hits their limit at a certain point and pushing too much will only cause them to be painfully overwhelmed. Geeks rapper lIlBOI participated in penning lines and helped elevate the song with his rapping.
A description included with the music video says that the singer expresses her honesty in her new project and drew inspiration from her experiences since debut. Kim Sejeong brightly offers comfort through her music with the introduction of her second EP titled I’M which features five tracks in total.
In 2016, Kim Sejeong participated in the idol survival series, “Produce 101.” She became a member of the experimental team I.O.I in May before officially making her debut with gugudan later in June. Both groups have sadly disbanded and she has since pursued acting along with solo promotional activities. She recently starred in “The Uncanny Counter” and made her mark with solo releases such as “Plant” and “Whale.”
