Kim Samuel, Brave Entertainment trainee and previous contestant of “Produce 101 Season 2,” is moving fast in preparations to start his new solo career!
On June 20th KST, Samuel took to Twitter to post what seems to be a teaser video to get fans excited for his upcoming solo debut. He tagged it with various spellings of his name and a release date that is also seen in the video attached: “#사무엘 #Samuel #Im_Ready #Coming_Soon #170621_7PM #Vlive”
Along with an original song called “I’m Ready,” the short video also shows how much Samuel has done and how much he has grown through his years of training. Starting as a Pledis Entertainment trainee at 11 years old, Samuel was meant to debut with the band SEVENTEEN, but due to his young age and personal reasons, he did not end up debuting with the group. He then went on to debut as Punch around the age of 14 and promoted both in the duo 1PUNCH and on his own. As Punch, he even released a catchy song with popular American rapper Silento called “SPOTLIGHT.” The video then follows him to his most recent endeavor in the Mnet reality show “Produce 101 Season 2” where he made it all the way into the top 20 trainees!
Fans can look forward to seeing more from Kim Samuel quite soon, starting with a V Live broadcast on June 21st at 7PM KST.
