On November 3rd at 12 p.m. KST, soloist Kim Jeong_uk dropped his latest single, candidly titled “I Need You. Period.”
The song is a pop-rock track with an addictive, melodic alt rock guitar riff, and straightforward lyrics that express the emotional turmoil of trying to move on from a relationship.
As always, the talented singer-songwriter wrote and composed the song himself, this time collaborating with Canadian producer Paco Lee on the track’s lyrics and arrangement.
The music video sees the former 24K member all alone amid vast open fields and seemingly endless landscapes, the imagery and cinematic drone shots perfectly illustrating the song’s message of isolation and desperation.
