On January 24th at 6 p.m. KST, Kim Jae Hwan returned with his single album along with a music video for “Ponytail!”
The funk-pop dance song describes unexpectedly falling in love at first sight and their desire to conquer the heart of the person who captured theirs.
Its lyrics were penned by Chae Riha (MUMW), Choi D.D. (MUMW), Y0UNG (MUMW), bay (153/Joombas), Choi May (153/Joombas), and Na Jeongah (153/Joombas) while Kim Jae Hwan himself composed the track alongside Park Woosang (LOGOS), seo9 (LOGOS), and Jiyeon Lee (Kissmejoy).
Kim Jae Hwan is set to appear on Mnet‘s upcoming survival show called “Build Up” alongside SG Wannabe‘s Lee Dahee, Baekho, BTOB’s Eunkwang, MAMAMOO’s Solar, and Red Velvet’s Wendy.
The program aims to create a vocal-focused boy group by selecting 40 contestants who will battle it out to secure a spot in the final line-up. “Build Up” will premiere on January 26th at 10:10 p.m. KST.
