On August 3rd at 6 p.m. KST, Kang Daniel released his highly-anticipated mini-album as well as a music video for its lead track, “Who U Are.”
The single was co-written by the singer himself, showcasing lyrics that sing of an intense attraction towards someone who they strongly wish to get closer to. The music video shows the idol looking worn but determined as he dances to the beat.
Kang Daniel’s second mini-album entitled Magenta contains six tracks and comes in two versions. He co-wrote five of the songs, offering fresh sounds through collaborations with YUMMDA and Dvwn. Included in the tracklist is his single with Jamie and Simon Dominic called “Waves” which was pre-released a week ago with its own tantalizing music video.
