JYP Entertainment is introducing new faces!
On September 22nd at 6 p.m. KST, global girl group VCHA released their pre-debut single album and a music video for its title track, “Y.O.Universe.”
Park Jinyoung himself participated in producing and writing the uptempo song which declares that everyone is special because of their uniqueness and follows the journey of the girls as they make their way through the intense competition.
The six members Lexi, KG, Camila, Savanna, Kaylee, and Kendall were selected through the show “A2K” (America2Korea). The survival project was a collaboration between JYP and Republic Records and aimed to create a global group “based on the first K-pop training system in North America.”
J.Y.P Entertainment representative Park Jinyoung personally served as a judge during auditions in five major cities in the United States (Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Dallas, and LA) to find candidates with the potential to be part of the project.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows.
