Solo artist Jeong Sewoon has returned to the scene with yet another gorgeous new song!
On July 23rd, the official music video for “20 Something” was released on Starship Entertainment‘s YouTube channel. The song is soft, melodic track that is pulsed by jazz piano and a string accompaniment. The production was a collaborative effort between Jeong Sewoon himself and pianist Jeong Donghwan of the piano/singer duo MeloMance.
The story follows a nomadic Jeong Sewoon boarding a train, who had received a lucky ticket that will take him nearly anywhere. He seems to be content in seeing different places, busking across foreign streets, and living his twenties as best as he can – until he suddenly wakes up from the dream. The music video is filled with gorgeous imagery and outdoor scenery, and the lyrics discuss a feeling of nostalgia and thinking in a simple manner.
“20 Something” is Jeong Sewoon’s second release of 2018. It follows “BABY IT’S U,” a more upbeat track that was released back in January. Sewoon has become known as a rookie solo artist who is not be underestimated considering the popularity of his music. His track “JUST U” featuring Sik-K peaked all the way at #24 despite it being his debut track.
