On December 22nd at 1 p.m. KST, IVE‘s An Yujin released the Korean version of “This Wish” along with a music video for the song!
“Wish” is an animated film about young Asha’s dangerous discovery of the mysterious wish-making sorcery practiced by their King and her struggle to retrieve what was stolen from her people.
The song “This Wish” expresses the protagonist’s troubled feelings over the discovery of a great secret and how she gathers the courage to face the consequences of revealing the truth to everyone.
The movie marks Disney’s 100th anniversary and premiered on November 8th in Los Angeles, California. It was theatrically released in the rest of the country on November 22nd and is set to be played in Korean theaters on January 3rd, 2024 KST.
