On March 26th at 6 p.m. KST, IU released the music video for her second title track, “Coin”!
The lyrics of the song talks about being a bold and ruthless gambler, taking risks in stride to get to their goal. Poptime and IU teamed up to create the fresh spunky song that comes with a retro-styled music video which features the soloist as a player who commands exciting games.
LILAC is IU’s fifth studio album and the last album she’ll release in her 20s. It serves as a farewell to a chapter in her life while also welcoming a new beginning as she hits 30. 10 songs comprise the album’s tracklist and are headlined by double title tracks, “LILAC” and “Coin.” “Celebrity” was pre-released in January.
Through her music, she aims to express her gratitude to everyone who had watched over her sincerely during her journey.
