On September 29th at 6 p.m. KST, IMFACT’s Na Ungjae unveiled his first solo music since the formation of his company, The Faker Club.
“Drama” is a pre-release single from Ungjae’s upcoming debut EP and is an emotional guitar-driven heartbreak song layered with tropical-house inspired beats and sounds. It was written, composed, and arranged solely by the singer himself whose effortlessly deep vocal tone perfectly captures the moody vibes of the track.
The self-producing side of the rapper and vocalist comes as no surprise to fans who have followed him since his beginnings in IMFACT, having written and composed the group’s 2016 debut song “Lollipop” (an impressive feat for the youngest member) as well as a vast majority of their discography and most recently, fellow The Faker Club artist from20’s latest release.
Additionally, the music video for “Drama” was directed by from20 and features breathtaking visuals and mesmerizing scenes. Ungjae’s conviction to the lyrics details his hopes for an open-ending to this relationship drama and channels the regret of not knowing how to love.
