On October 21st at 6 p.m. KST, ILLIT released their latest EP and a music video for its title track, “Cherish (My Love)!”
The dance-pop song is about the sincere feelings of a girl who boldly wants to pursue love without regrets. It was written by Deputy, Andrew Jackson, Solly, Charli, AKAP, “hitman” Bang, Kim Nayeon (BerryGood), Supreme Boi, danke (lalala studio), divahh, VINCENZO, Jude, Shin Kung, and SSAC (MUMW).
ILLIT’s second mini-album I’LL LIKE YOU revolves around the youthful experiences of a girl who gets so wrapped up in the present. She finds romance, struggles with her personal relationships, and takes a leap of faith by trusting what’s in her heart.
ILLIT is a five-member group composed of Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha. They were formed through JTBC‘s audition show “R U Next” and debuted in March 2024 with the viral song, “Magnetic.”

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop.
